Absent Aero, the desktop looks so last year. I suspect this is all just because the more Flash I am running the more likely I am to be running whatever it is that causes the lockup.I agree with the The bigger and more annoying issue is the fact that I have received the blue screen of death (BSOD) on 3 ocassions. It sometimes has to be restarted several times before I can view comments or see likes left on previous posts.
language is english. However, whatever the hardware issue is, it's being triggered by Flash somehow, and isn't showing up as a problem with any other tests. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

i installed chrome on it and it did the same thing. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 16. Being intermittent, I cannot be sure, but it seemed so. check over here It's been about three weeks now, have yet to run Chrome again, no BSOD.
I installed Google Chrome on my desktop and have never had any problems. I used Malwarebytes to remove it. So much for only the tab crashing. Through multiple exercises of trial and error, I found that it was Google Chrome alone that was causing the Blue Screen of Death.
